Second child syndrome

Poor Parker.  He is already 7 weeks old and hasn't even gotten a blog post yet.  I hear this is what people call the "second child syndrome" (I wouldn't know, being a first child and all).  I have taken some pictures, but not a ton.  I think I need to be better at it or the poor child will think he was neglected as an infant.  Don't worry, he's not being neglected!  So far he's been a very well behaved baby and a great addition to the family.  He just started smiling in the past week or two (see I don't even remember the date!), which is awesome and he's getting stronger and bigger every day!  Here are some pictures with evidence :)

Getting caught up...again

Here are some pictures from the holidays and Grant's birthday.  I am trying to catch up on older photos, so I can start fresh when the baby comes.  35 weeks and counting.

Mia's bday party and gingerbread houses

Here are the promised pictures from Mia's birthday party.  We've been really hitting the birthday party circuit hard lately since most of G's friends are born between late October and early Spring.  It will probably continue until the end of February.  It's really a great time, lots of fun events and hanging out with friends.  So so much pizza and cake.  Anyway, Katie really outdid herself.  She pinterested the crap out of this party with decorations she made, a house that fits over her dining room table perfectly and cupcake decorating (complete with Chef's hat and apron).  So awesome!  I am very impressed and honored to be friends with someone who is so crafty!

We also made gingerbread houses again this year.  We had Mia and Caitlin over and decorated graham cracker gingerbread houses.  I'm pretty sure more candy made it in their mouths than on their houses, but whatever.  It was still fun.  I think the houses turned out great.

Look at these kids mugging for the camera...lol
