Visit with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Steph

So ever since we discovered the "easy" setting on our camera, pictures have been looking good.  It's kind of funny, but I found it out of necessity since it's hard getting a 7 month old to sit still.  It takes pictures very quickly and the prints we've gotten look awesome.  Yay for an old camera that has new tricks!  We visited Jeff and Steph this weekend and got some really cute pictures with them.  Their apartment was great and we got Luke's lobster rolls for lunch (wahoo).  We'll have to come back soon.

It is a lot harder these days to catch good pictures of Grant sitting still.  He just wants to always be going.  This was the best I could do this morning, after not a great night's sleep.  Boo!

Vacation!

Well, it's back to reality here at the Haley household. Vacation is over. We had such a great time down the shore, I can't believe it's really done. Grant was awesome, well behaved, enjoyed the beach. Really outdid himself. Eamonn and I had some fun times with everyone and a date night to ourselves. Now I need something else fun to look forward to!
We got some great pictures while we were down the shore, but I did forget to bring Grant's 7 month sticker for his onesie, so I'll take some (late) pictures tomorrow and post those.

Heather and Alex's wedding (or Mariachi Shindig)

We had such a nice time this weekend at Heather and Alex's wedding.  Grant was on his best behavior and really seemed to enjoy himself.  He even got to stay up late!  Heather looked beautiful and it was a fun time.  We got a couple of great pictures (even some of the 3 of us!).

The other exciting thing is we're going down the shore on Saturday.  We are so super pumped about vacation.  I've got lists all over the place though trying not to forget anything.  It's ridiculous how much stuff traveling with a 7 month old entails.  I hope I won't forget anything, but it's not like we're going to Africa.  Luckily everything can be bought once we're there if necessary.  I'm trying to figure out how to get Grant's food there though.  I think I can bring some and buy some jarred and then maybe manage to cook some carrots or sweet potatoes or something to supplement my stash.  I'm sure it'll work out since we have a full kitchen, I just don't want to bring too much extra stuff.
