Park days...

This weather is just the best.  Even though some days are rainy and gross, overall it's not too hot (though I hear that's coming on Thursday), definitely not too cold, but just right.  We've been taking advantage by having lots of park play dates and picnics.  Grant loves himself a good picnic.  He asks for one almost every day, grabbing our blanket from it's spot in the hall.  "Mommy, we have a picnic?" too cute.  I'll try to get a shot of him and his buddies picnicking.  In other news, we are moving!  Hurray no more 5th floor walk up!  We are moving just a few blocks away to a nice elevator building.  Thank goodness.  I am definitely looking forward to not hauling all our stuff up and down the stairs.  I also have a few pictures to share.

G and Caitlin at the Jackson St Park (Grant calls this the "new" park...I guess because we don't go there often, but the playground equipment is new vs the old shabby stuff in Church Square)

Grant and his buddies post lunch in Mia's courtyard.  With special treats (Grape popsicle)

Grant has been having a tough time napping lately, some days he won't sleep at all, other days he's down for 3+ hours.  It's difficult to figure out.  I hear there's some sort of developmental stuff going on a 2 1/2, so I'm going to blame it on that.  This day he didn't nap at all and we headed out to bring our deposit for the new apartment.  We started to walk back to the park (literally a 5 minute walk) and around minute 2 he slouched down and passed out asleep.  He's not a stroller sleeping kind of kid, so this was certainly a surprise.  I guess the tiredness finally caught up with him.  I'm hoping he works this nap thing out soon though, it has been slightly better this week, so fingers crossed.

It's sad that these are really the only pics I have of this week...I'm going to need to do better.
